Certificate in Legal Method
Gold had always wanted to study law but didn't have the qualifications for entry to a degree. She knew she had found what she was looking for when she heard about Birkbeck's part-time access to law certificate.
'I realised straight away that Legal Method was the course that would lead me to a law degree, so I was ecstatic when Birkbeck accepted me. The tutors were absolutely amazing - especially my course tutor who was right behind me: I've never had a teacher like her. The advice I'd give others is that you have to keep believing that you can do it – and you will succeed. I'm now studying for a law degree and am really proud of myself.'
