Former Student Governor elected

We are pleased to announce that Eamonn Moyles has been elected to serve as the Former Student Governor from 1 October 2010 to 30 September 2013.  Eamonn will take over from the current Former Student Governor, Susie Hodge, whose term of office expires on 30 September 2010.

Eamonn completed his BA in Philosophy in 2007 before going on to complete his MSc in International Security and Global Governance in 2009.

Upon finding out that he has been elected he said:

"I'm delighted to have been given the opportunity to give something back to the college, especially so soon after graduating.  Birkbeck is unique in providing high quality part-time education opportunities to working Londoners and I will do all I can during my tenure to support the college in the continuation of this invaluable service."
