Our academic staff
Over 90 per cent of our academics are research-active and many are renowned as world-class experts in their fields. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, Birkbeck was ranked in the top 25 per cent of UK multi-faculty institutions. This research directly informs curriculum development and teaching.
